Your ItInerarY MonDaY 29th - Depart on your scheduled flight to Milan. On arrival transfer to your lakeside resort of Riva del Garda for a four night stay. Welcome drink and dinner in the evening. tueSDaY 30th - Join our optional full day tour to Venice, the unique and captivating city on the water. After a boat transfer into the heart of Venice you can stroll through St. Marks Square, see the Doges Palace and Grand Canal. Why not take a gondola ride through the network of canals? Trentino-style dinner with live music back at your hotel. neW YearS eVe - Included three-quarter day tour to experience the beauty of both Verona and Lake Garda. In the evening back at your hotel enjoy a special Gala dinner followed by music and dancing. Celebration cake and wine at midnight! neW Year'S DaY - Enjoy an included cruise on the lake a great relaxing way to start the New Year. Afternoon tea and biscuits are included back at the hotel. Your ItInerarY MonDaY 29th - Depart on your scheduled flight to Milan. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Tremezzina on Lake Como for a four night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink before dinner this evening. tueSDaY 30th - Our included three-quarter day tour will introduce you to the charming lakeside town of Como, the largest on the lake. You will have free time to wander along the promenade and through the medieval quarter with its ancient city gates, before a ferry boat trip to explore the delightful lakeside resort of Bellagio. Dinner at the hotel this evening. neW YearS eVe - Relax or join an optional full day trip featuring a scenic coach journey to Tirano, followed by a spectacular ride on the Bernina Express railway over the spirals and through the tunnels of the Bernina Pass, climbing to more than 7,000ft. before reaching the exclusive Swiss ski resort of St. Moritz (approx. 2 hrs by train). Return to Lake Como by coach in time to get ready for the evenings celebrations. Enjoy a New Years Eve Gala dinner with live music and entertainment at the hotel. Welcome in 2009 with Spumante and panetone at midnight. neW YearS DaY - We include a threequarter day scenic tour visiting nearby Lugano, set amongst the steep slopes and bordering both Italy and Switzerland. Your HoteL You will stay at the Hotel Lario, just a few minutes walk from the lakeside at Tremezzina affording wonderful views over the lake. Buffet breakfast and a three course evening meal are included daily with special New Year celebrations on the 31st. The hotel has been completely renovated to provide an elegant restaurant, bar, terrace and lift. All bedrooms have private facilities, telephone, satellite TV, minibar and hairdryer.
