Your ItInerarY tueSDaY 30th - Depart on your scheduled flight to Zürich. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Lucerne for a three night stay. Join our included orientation walk around the town. neW Year'S eVe - Optional full day excursion featuring a spectacular train ride following the route of the famous Glacier Express. We board the train at Andermatt and head east along one of the most scenic stretches of the line. The train crosses the 6,560ft high Oberalp Pass and takes you on a breathtaking scenic adventure (please reserve your places at the time of booking). Festive New Year's Eve dinner at the hotel, then why not join in the party atmosphere in Lucerne, with fireworks at midnight. neW Year'S DaY - Included half day excursion to spectacular Engelberg, high in the mountains. Don't miss the chance to take the rotating cable car up Mount Titlis to a height of 10,000ft (at extra cost). FrIDaY 2nd JanuarY 2009 Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Welcome drink and dinner on arrival. neW Year'S eVe - Join our included walking tour of Krakow with a local guide. The city is a treasure trove of wonderful sights, including the Market Square, the Wawel Castle and the Royal Palace. Afternoon free to explore further, before a return transfer back to your hotel. This evening enjoy a special New Year's Eve dinner at the hotel. neW Year'S DaY - Today we include a full day excursion through the Tatra Mountains to Zakopane. This delightful town is Poland's most popular mountain resort, set amidst wonderful scenery. FrIDaY 2nd JanuarY 2009 - Optional full day excursion to Auschwitz. This moving tour visits the largest of the Nazi concentration camps, preserved so the atrocities of World War II are never forgotten. SaturDaY 3rd JanuarY 2009- Transfer to the airport in time for your return flight to the UK.
