YOUR ITINERARY Thursday 7th August - Liverpool Depart 1600 Friday 8th - Greenock (for Glasgow) Arrive 0800  Depart 1800 From Greenock take the opportunity to visit Glasgow. Look out for the instantly recognisable work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, or wander around the fabulous selection of shops and cafés. Passengers joining at Greenock will board Ocean Majesty in time for our departure. Saturday 9th - Cruising at sea. Sunday 10th - Torshavn, Faroe Islands Arrive 0800  Depart 1700 The smallest capital in the world, Torshavn is a wooden city that has never fallen prey to an all-consuming fire, which has been the fate of so many Nordic towns. The Faroe Islands are a giant bird scanctuary with some of the largest puffin colonies in northern Europe and thousands of guillemots, kittiwakes, razorbills and petrels. Monday 11th - Cruising at sea. Tuesday 12th & Wednesday 13th - Reykjavik Arrive 0800 Tuesday 12th  Depart 1700 Wednesday 13th The cafés and bars of Icelands colourful capital are renowned for their lively atmosphere. During your two day stay here take one of the fascinating shore excursions on offer. The Golden Circle tour introduces some of Icelands spectacular volcanic features, or visit the Blue Lagoon to bathe in the warm mineral-rich waters. Thursday 14th - Akureyri Arrive 1300  Depart 2300 Akureyri lies on Icelands rugged north coast and has an uncompromising and bizarre landscape. Take the overland tour to Husavik, taking in the dramatic Godafoss Falls and the truly breathtaking Lake Myvatn, noted for its moonlike craters, striking lava formations, hissing steam vents and bubbling mud-pools. Friday 15th & Saturday 16th - Cruising at sea. Sunday 17th - Tobermory Arrive 0700  Depart 1500 The pretty town of Tobermory, with its brightly painted houses, is the capital of the Isle of Mull. It is famous for its whisky distilleries and also for the shipwreck of the Florencia, part of the Spanish Armada, which sank in the bay in 1588. Explore the island further and be impressed by its remote Scottish castles, including the 13th-century Duart Castle, home of the clan chief of the MacLeans, or make a longer pilgrimage to Iona, believed to be the first Christian site in Scotland.
