Essential Information
All bookings are subject to our Booking Conditions which will be sent to you with, unless advised otherwise, your Confirmation Invoice and are available in advance upon request by calling us on 01858 462 111 or on our website www. travelsphere.co.uk The holiday contract is subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and is created 14 days following your receipt of the Confirmation Invoice. Please also note the following information. Peace of mind and protection for your money - we are a fully bonded member of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA number V5874). We also hold an Air Travel Organisers Licence issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL number 1091). Holidays including air travel are ATOL Protected by the CAA and holidays not including air travel are protected by ABTA. In the very unlikely event of our insolvency you would be refunded any money that you have already paid us. REPATRIATION All tour operators are required by law to state arrangements for the repatriation of customers in the event of insolvency. All holidays including flights are ATOL protected and in the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad. If your holiday does not include flights ABTA will protect your holiday in the same way. OUR PRICE PROMISE All prices in this brochure are valid until end of December 2008 (subject to the conditions below) when they may be superseded by revised dates and prices featured in new brochures. We reserve the right to change prices from time to time. Accordingly, it is possible that when you book your holiday the actual price may have gone up or down. If the price of your holiday has changed, the correct price will be confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to correct errors at any time prior to the price being confirmed at the time of booking. Once you have made your booking and paid a deposit and the price of your chosen holiday has been confirmed on your Confirmation Invoice, we will only increase or decrease it in the following circumstances. Price increases or decreases after booking will be passed on by way of a surcharge or refund. A surcharge or refund (as applicable) will be payable, subject to the conditions set out in this clause, where our transportation costs (e.g. aviation insurance and security levy, fuel, scheduled airfares and any other airline surcharges which are part of the contract between airlines (and their agents) and the tour operator) and/or any dues, taxes or fees payable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports or airports increase or decrease or where our costs increase or decrease as a result of any changes in the exchange rates which have been used to calculate the cost of your holiday. Even in the above cases, we will absorb increased costs up to a total amount equivalent to 2% of the cost of your confirmed holiday (excluding insurance premiums and any amendment charges). Only if the increased costs exceed this 2% will we levy a surcharge. In either case, there will be an administration charge of £1 per person. If any surcharge is greater then 10% of the cost of your holiday (excluding insurance premiums, any amendment charges and administration charges), you will be entitled to cancel your booking and receive a full refund of all monies paid to us (except for any amendment charges) or alternatively purchase another holiday from us. A refund will only be payable if the decrease in our above costs exceeds 2% as set out above. Where a refund is due, we will pay you the full amount of the decrease of our costs. We promise not to surcharge once you have paid your final balance for the holiday. If the minimum number of passengers is not reached, we will offer alternative arrangements. Exact pick-up locations will be included with your travel documents. Please note some coach pick-ups may be in the early hours. We use modern coaches with experienced drivers, semi-reclining seats, air-conditioning, hot drinks machine and wc. FLY CRUISES We will operate exclusive charter flights from Gatwick and Manchester airports for all fly cruises. Confirmed flight departure times will be advised in good time. Please note that on certain cruises we may supplement our charter flights with seats on scheduled services with British Airways or other airlines. Timings are provisional. Final timings will be sent with your travel documents. AIRPORT PARKING You may wish to make your own way to the airport. We are able to offer airport car parking (one car per booking form) for the duration of your cruise. The car parks are situated a short distance from the airport and a complimentary shuttle bus service is provided to take you to the airport itself. Details will be sent to you when you make your booking. Airport parking is available for just £20 on Treasures of the Mediterranean, Italy, the Ionian Islands & The Ancient Treasures of Greece, and Ancient Treasures & Black Sea Discoveries. On Treasures of Spain & Portugal and the Iberia & the Balearic Islands it is available free of charge. AVAILABILITY OF FACILITIES Please bear in mind that from time to time itineraries may be altered and certain facilities, including optional excursions, withdrawn due to lack of demand, weather conditions, essential maintenance work, operational issues or other circumstances outside our control. Please bear in mind the following when booking your cruise: from time to time, special interest groups may be on board; on cruises featuring guest celebrities, circumstances beyond our control may make it necessary to substitute a different celebrity; a minimum number of participants are required for on-board lectures and talks to go ahead. JOINING MARCO POLO SINGLE TRAVELLERS Please refer to the price table for details of single fares. If you are travelling alone but do not wish to pay for sole occupancy of a cabin, we can allocate you a two bed inside or outside cabin and introduce another single client of the same sex to share with you. We reserve the right to limit the availability of this offer please speak to one of our Cruise Advisors. ELECTRICITY Voltage on board is 110v AC. Sockets in the cabins are continental 2 pin type, suitable for small electrical appliances only. Ironing is not permitted in cabins. A laundry service is available. VALUABLES Safety deposit boxes are available in your cabin (service charge applies). COACHING FROM LONDON VICTORIA On all Marco Polo cruises departing from Tilbury, we offer a coach service from London Victoria for £10 return. The coach will take you right to the cruise terminal and will be waiting to meet you on your return. Car parking is available at Tilbury at a competitive cost.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE There are no restrictions on the amount of baggage that you may bring on board. As there are no baggage room facilities, however, all luggage must be stored within the cabin. Airline restrictions, however, do apply on fly cruises. Details can be found on your flight ticket. HOLIDAY & ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION Every effort has been made to provide as much information as possible about your holiday, especially regarding accommodation and excursions. All the information has been carefully checked and is correct at the time of going to press. Please bear in mind, however, that from time to time certain facilities, excursions and entertainments may be altered or withdrawn due to lack of demand, weather conditions, essential maintenance work or other circumstances beyond our control. Ships cabins are really hotel rooms in miniature, providing more or less the same facilities with one main difference space! Ships necessarily have space limitations so therefore tend to utilise every inch efficiently. All cabins are air-conditioned. The main difference between OUTSIDE and INSIDE cabins is that OUTSIDE cabins have natural daylight. A BED refers to a lower berth while BERTHS mean lower/upper berth combinations. Our holiday prices are per person, based on the shared occupancy of a double or twin cabin or room (for overnight accommodation, cruise & stay and extensions only).
