CRUISE TO ALASKA By far the most dramatic and beautiful region of this vast state is the south-east coastline, known as the Inside Passage. Aboard ms Statendam you will glide into remote inlets and bays, call at picturesque and historic waterfront communities, and possibly witness the spectacular birth of icebergs. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your charter flight to Calgary. On arrival transfer to Banff for a two night stay. DAY 2 - Today we include a tour of Banff. You will see the lovely Bow Falls, the Cave and Basin and Sulphur Mountain. DAY 3 - Drive to Lake Louise, described by many writers as the most beautiful place in Canada. Transfer to your hotel in Golden for an overnight stop. DAY 4 - Continue through the Rockies to Kelowna for an overnight stay. DAY 5 - Continue across British Columbia to Vancouver for a three night stay. DAY 6 - Included half day city tour featuring Chinatown, Gastown, Stanley Park and the magnificent harbour. An optional half day excursion will be available to Vancouvers Northshore featuring the spectacular Capilano Suspension Bridge and a cable car ride up Grouse Mountain. DAY 7 - Free in Vancouver. Why not take the optional excursion to Victoria, capital of British Columbia. DAY 8 - Morning free before an afternoon transfer to your ship in Vancouver harbour. DAY 9 - Cruise the Inside Passage. Marvel at the scenery and keep a watchful eye open for wildlife. Day 10 - Afternoon arrival in Juneau from where you can visit the Mendenhall Glacier.

DAY 11 - A morning arrival in Skagway, a lively relic of the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898. DAY 12 - Cruising scenic Glacier Bay. DAY 13 - Early afternoon arrival in Ketchikan. Take an optional flight over Misty Fjord, explore the Totem Poles Park or enjoy a lunch of fresh Alaskan salmon. DAY 14 - Cruise the Inside Passage back towards Vancouver. DAY 15 - Morning arrival in Vancouver followed by a transfer to the airport for your return flight. DAY 16 - Arrival in the UK.
