YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Fly to Barbados and transfer to your ship, Island Star, for your 14 night cruise, starting with an overnight stay in Barbados. DAY 2 - Barbados Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of this beautiful island, which has a strong British legacy. Stroll down the Careenage in Bridgetown and browse through some of the excellent shops, or visit Harrisons Cave, where an underground tram ride passes babbling streams, tumbling cascades, stalactites and stalagmites. DAY 3 - Cruising at sea DAY 4 - Trinidad This ethnically diverse island is twinned with Tobago, although Trinidad is the larger of the two. It is energetic, full of culinary delights and cultural diversity. DAY 5 - Tobago Tobago is home to the oldest protected rainforest in the Western Hemisphere and the waters surrounding it are teeming with marine life and coral reefs. DAY 6 - Grenada St. Georges is the pretty port and capital of Grenada, with its lush tropical rainforests, spectacular mountain scenery and wonderful spice plantations. Stroll through the quaint cobbled streets to the bustling market, walk up to the hillside fort for breathtaking views over the town, or take a water taxi to beautiful Grand Anse beach. DAY 11 - Antigua Nelson landed here in 1794. Surrounded by a coral reef with fantastic scenery, white palmfringed beaches and warm azure seas, you can explore the charming bays and towns including St. Johns, the islands lively main town, and historic English Harbour with its delightful bars and restaurants. DAY 12 - Cruising at sea DAY 13 - Martinique Experience a little bit of France on your Caribbean holiday with an island that seems a world away from the country itself, with lush mountains, tropical rainforests and glorious flowers. DAY 14 - Dominica Dominica is an unspoilt paradise of lush vegetation, glistening rivers, streams, waterfalls and a rich cultural heritage. It is also the whalewatching capital of the Caribbean. DAY 15 - Barbados Disembark Island Star and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK. DAY 16 - Arrival in the UK.

Its glorious scenery is dominated by the volcano Soufriere. DAY 8 - St. Lucia The dramatic mountain scenery and the distinctive twin-peaked Pitons make St. Lucia perhaps the most instantly recognisable island in the Caribbean. Enjoy the vibrant Creole atmosphere and hustle and bustle of Castries, the thriving capital. DAY 9 - Cruising at sea DAY 10 - St. Kitts Its golden beaches, historical treasures and lively culture make St. Kitts a superb port of call. The capital, Basseterre, is home to an impressive cathedral and the views from the Brimstone Hill Fortress are truly breathtaking.
