Make sure you are on deck to watch your arrival into typical fjord-side villages of wooden houses huddling below towering cliffs. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Tilbury Depart 1700 DAY 2 - Cruising at sea. DAY 3 - Ulvik Arrive 0800 Depart 1230 Hardangerfjord is famous for its waterfalls, glaciers, mountains and the secret beauty of its smaller fjords. At the head of one of the smaller fjords, Ulvikfjord, lies the picturesque village of Ulvik, centre of one of Norways largest fruitgrowing districts, with hillside orchards framed by magnificent mountains. Ulvik is also the starting point for a breathtaking overland excursion to Eidfjord. Eidfjord Arrive 1430 Depart 1800 Eidfjord, an arm of western Norways Hardangerfjord, is one of Norways most beautiful stretches of water a scenic delight of still waters, towering cliffs and peaceful villages. DAY 4 - Vik Arrive 0800 Depart 0930 Stop in Vik to disembark for the optional excursion to Flam.

Lying deep within Norways longest and most majestic fjord, the peaceful village of Flam nestles between cliffs streaked with waterfalls. Flams world-famous railway can take you on the six mile journey to Myrdal, spiralling its way up the steep mountain gorge. As you pass magnificent sights such as the spectacular Kjosfossen Waterfall, you will see why this is, for many people, regarded as Norways most beautiful train journey. DAY 5 - Bergen Arrive 0730 Depart 1800 One of the most enchanting and popular of Norwegian cities, Bergen is a joy to explore. The city boasts brightly painted wooden houses, a medieval fortress, a romantic castle and a colourful fish market. Be sure to visit nearby Troldhaugen, home of composer Edvard Grieg and still a monument to his music and his life, and take the cable car ride for the best view of the town. DAY 6 - Cruising at sea.
