A day at sea to relax brings you to Ulvik and Eidfjord where the scenery is picture-perfect. We then cruise to the Lofoten Islands, before your journey deep into the Arctic Circle. Then its on to vibrant Tromso, the truly inspiring Svartisen Glacier, Alesund and the historic port of Bergen.
YOUR ITINERARY Sunday June 15th - Tilbury Depart 1730 Monday 16th - Cruising at sea. Tuesday 17th - Ulvik Arrive 0730 Depart 1230 At the head of one of the smaller fjords, Ulvikfjord, lies the picturesque village of Ulvik. This is the centre of one of Norways largest fruit-growing districts, and also the starting point for a breathtaking overland excursion to Eidfjord. Eidfjord Arrive 1430 Depart 1800 For spectacular views of Norways stunning fjordland scenery, be on deck as your ship cruises gently to Eidfjord along one of Norways most beautiful stretches of water. Wednesday 18th - Olden Arrive Midday Depart 1830 Olden is a delightful village in the beautiful Nordfjord. Pay a visit to the Briksdal Glacier, or the Jostedal Glacier National Park and Videseter Hotel, which has stunning views over the Hjelle Valley and Buldrefossen Waterfall. Thursday 19th - Cruising at sea. Friday 20th - Gravdal, Lofoten Islands Arrive 0730 Depart 1230 The pretty settlement of Gravdal is known as the Gateway to the Lofoten Islands. The neatly painted boat houses with their rows of fish hanging out to dry contrast with the rugged mountains, farmland and outlying villages. Svolvaer, Lofoten Islands Arrive 1530 Depart 1930 home to an extraordinary church in the shape of an iceberg that glistens in the midnight sun. Monday 23rd - Svartisen Glacier Arrive 1330 Depart 1500 Today we cruise into Holandsfjord, home to Norways second largest glacier, Svartisen. The view of the glacier as it reaches down into the deep blue waters of the fjord is truly impressive. Tuesday 24th - Alesund Arrive 1430 Depart 1930 Alesunds distinctive architecture is celebrated in the towns Art Nouveau Centre. There is also a selection of shops, cafés and bars for you to enjoy. Wednesday 25th - Bergen Arrive 0800 Depart 1800 The historic former Norwegian capital of Bergen boasts brightly painted wooden houses, the old Bryggen quarter, a medieval fortress and a colourful fish market. Be sure to visit nearby Troldhaugen, home of composer Edvard Grieg, or take a cable car ride for the best views of the city. Thursday 26th - Cruising at sea Friday 27th - Tilbury Arrive 0730
