YOUR ITINERARY Friday 23rd January - Fly to Santiago, Chile. Saturday 24th - Arrive in Santiago and embark Marco Polo in Valparaiso for your 21 night cruise. Depart 1900 Sunday 25th - Cruising at sea Monday 26th - Antofagasta, Chile Arrive 0730 Depart 1400 Visit the Gothic San Jose cathedral and the Torre del Reloj (clock tower) and enjoy the beautiful beaches. Tuesday 27th - Arica, Chile Arrive Midday Depart 1800 Explore Chiles tiny mountain villages, ancient ruins and wonderful indigenous wildlife. Wednesday 28th - Cruising at sea Thursday 29th - Callao, Peru (for Lima) Arrive 0730 Depart 2200 Much of Spains colonial influence can still be seen in Limas many beautiful squares, fine churches and mansions. Why not take a four night overland trip to the enthralling Galapagos Islands, where the incredible fauna and wildlife inspired Darwins theory of evolution. Friday 30th and Saturday 31st - Cruising at sea Sunday 1st February - Guayaquil, Ecuador Arrive 0700 Walk around the picturesque wooden houses in Las Penas, or around the museums, churchs and Botanical Gardens. Monday 2nd - Guayaquil, Ecuador Depart 1630 Enjoy more of Guayaquil. Allegedly the infamous English pirate Henry Morgan hid much of his treasure here. Monday 9th - Cruising at sea Tuesday 10th - Kingston, Jamaica Arrive 0700 Depart 2330 Visit the ruins of Port Royal and 19th century Devon House, or soak up the sun on Hellshire and Lime Cay beaches. Wednesday 11th - Cruising at sea Thursday 12th - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Arrive 0700 Depart 2200 Founded by Christopher Columbus in 1492, visit the Santa Maria la Menor Cathedral and picturesque Colonial Zone, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1990. Friday 13th Cruising at sea Saturday 14th St. Johns, Antigua Arrive 0700 As you arrive into the capital of Antigua, look out for the magnificent St. Johns Cathedral. This lively, colourful city has so much to offer visitors. Disembark for your return flight to the UK. Sunday 15th Arrive in the UK.
