YOUR ITINERARY Saturday 3rd May Fly to Menorca where you will join the Ocean Majesty in the islands capital Mahon. Depart 2000 Sunday 4th - Palma, Majorca Arrive 0800  Depart 1800 Palma is home to stunning bays, golden sandy beaches and tranquil coves. It also has one of the most spectacular cathedrals in Spain. Take a stroll along the delightful seafront promenade and discover the charming old town with its 14th century castle. Palma will be the starting point for optional excursions to the monastery at Valldemossa, the former home of composer Frederic Chopin, the vast caves of Drach, with Europes largest underwater lake and the delightful mountain village of Deia. Monday 5th - Cruising at sea Tuesday 6th - Malaga Arrive 0800  Depart 2200 Malaga is a thriving port which offers insight into its history at the Picasso Museum where you will find an impressive collection of work by the citys most famous son. There are also fantastic views from two Moorish citadels, Alcazaba and Gibralfaro. Optional excursions include Mijas, the caves of Nerja, with their 20,000 year-old wall paintings and Granadas Alhambra Palace which was thought of as paradise on earth when it was built in the 13th and 14th centuries. Wednesday 7th - Cruising at sea. Thursday 8th - Lisbon Arrive 0800  Depart 1700 Make sure youre on deck as the ship approaches Lisbon up the mighty Tagus estuary. This city of cobbled streets boasts the beautiful riverside quarter of Belem, site of the Jeronimos Monastery and the Monument to the Discoveries. Take a tour to the Rococo Palace of Queluz in Sintra, the bay of Cascais and the elegant resort of Estoril, or for garden lovers, theres a tour of some of the citys beautiful gardens including Estufa Fria and the botanical gardens of Ajuda. Friday 9th - Vigo Arrive 1300  Depart 2000 Vigo is the biggest fishing port in Spain. A short distance from the port is Barrio del Berbes, the oldest part of the town and one-time sailors quarter. Nowadays though, the cobbled streets are full of lively cafés and tempting tapas bars serving delicious seafood. Take an optional excursion to Santiago de Compostela where you will be following in the footsteps of countless pilgrims over the centuries or Bayona la Real, where you will see stunning views of the bay and Galician countryside. Or why not indulge yourself with a shopping trip just over the Portuguese border in Valenco do Minho. Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th - Cruising at sea.
