YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Fly to New York for a three night stay. DAY 2 - Get to know New York, the city that never sleeps, on our included morning tour featuring the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Fifth Avenue, Times Square, Broadway and more. DAY 3 - Free in New York for more sightseeing. See Battery Park and Wall Street, shop for bargains in South Street Seaport, enjoy the trendy coffee houses and boutiques of Soho and Greenwich Village, or the cosy restaurants in Little Italy. Take a thrilling helicopter ride over the Big Apple, a cruise around Manhattan Island, the ferry to Liberty and Ellis Islands, or watch a fabulous Broadway show. DAY 4 - Morning free in New York before embarking Explorer of the Seas in Cape Liberty for your 9 night cruise. Depart 1700 DAY 5 - Cruising at sea DAY 6 - Kings Wharf, Bermuda Arrive 0800 Depart 1700 Lying 650 miles off the coast of North America, Bermuda is a loosely linked chain of delightful small islands covering 22 square miles, with Kings Wharf at the western end. Home to the Royal Naval Dockyards, explore the fascinating Bermuda Maritime Museum, stroll through the many galleries, shops and craft market, sample delicious Bermudan cuisine and try a glass of the famous local Rum Swizzle. DAY 7 - Cruising at sea DAY 8 - Philipsburg, St. Maarten Arrive Midday Depart 2100 The Dutch capital of Philipsburg on the unique Dutch-French Caribbean island of St. Maarten is full of colourful houses and you can shop until you drop in the fantastic stores and boutiques that line the narrow cobbled streets. For sun worshippers and watersports enthusiasts there are many beautiful palm-fringed white sandy beaches to enjoy. DAY 9 - Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas Arrive 0800 Depart 1800 St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands has been a duty free port since the days of the old sailing clippers. Pick up bargains in the fabulous shops and boutiques housed in the restored Danish warehouses of Charlotte Amalie, the bustling capital; visit Fort Christian and Blackbeards legendary castle; or head for stunning Magens Bay, for many one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. EXPLORER OF THE SEAS Facilities on this spacious ship include a nine-hole small scale golf course, basketball court, in-line skating track, shopping, dining and entertainment promenade, the largest at sea health and fitness centre and casino, plus an ice skating rink and rock-climbing wall. Visit the library, sun deck and solarium with indoor pool, whirlpool and café bar. Enjoy delicious cuisine in the spectacular three-tier dining room, Johnny Rockets American diner or private dining in the Portofino Italian restaurant, and experience superb entertainment in the five-tier theatre. DAY 10 - San Juan, Puerto Rico Arrive 0700 Depart 1400 Explore the Puerto Rican capital and second oldest city in the Americas with its pastel-coloured houses, wrought iron balconies, statue lined plazas and narrow blue stone cobbled streets, which contrast with the vibrant modern city. Then venture inland to see the exotic birds and plants in the lush and spectacular El Yunque Rainforest. DAYS 11 & 12 - Cruising at sea DAY 13 - Cape Liberty, New Jersey Arrive 0700 Disembark for your return overnight flight to the UK. DAY 14 - Return to the UK.
