This is an unmissable opportunity to discover the splendour of the Venetian Lagoon and the River Po as well as enjoy free time in the unique and fascinating city of Venice itself truly one of the worlds most beautiful cities. Relax aboard your comfortable cruiser as it winds its way through the picturesque lagoons and island inlets of the Adriatic Sea.
YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your scheduled flight to Venice. On arrival meet your Travelsphere Tour Manager and transfer to your river cruiser, MS Michelangelo for your five night cruise. Welcome cocktail and dinner then relax on board or explore Venice by night; a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of this unique city. DAY 2 - Morning cruise through the Venetian Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. We then cruise up the River Po to Taglio di Po for a brief stop. From here you can join an optional excursion to the old university town of Padua. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to the famous Santo Basilica. Overnight at Polesella. DAY 3 - After breakfast join our included excursion to Ferrara. We have a guided walking tour of the city, which is home to the impressive Castello Estense. After lunch back on board, we travel to Verona for a guided walking tour of one of Italys most beautiful and colourful cities. Cruise to Taglio di Po.

DAY 4 - Early morning scenic cruise to the popular fishing port of Chioggia. After lunch on board we cruise back to Venice. Join our optional afternoon guided tour of the Doges Palace, a great introduction to Venices Renaissance treasures. See the main sights such as the Basilica di San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and the Bell Tower located nearby. DAY 5 - Today we offer a delightful optional Venetian Lagoon tour, visiting two islands: Murano, famous for its production of Murano glassware and Burano to see the colourful houses and crooked church tower. In the afternoon we return to Venice for an optional gondola ride or free time. In the evening we enjoy a farewell dinner. DAY 6 - Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. MS MICHELANGELO The French-operated MS Michelangelo has two decks and carries 160 passengers. Amenities on board include a restaurant, bar, lounge, sundeck and central air-conditioning. All cabins feature twin beds, TV, hairdryer, safe and private facilities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included throughout the cruise.
