Why not take this wonderful opportunity to see everything on our 11 day Borneo holiday plus visit Turtle Island to see the amazing green turtles. Depending on the season, you will have a good chance of seeing the turtles laying eggs and even see hatchlings. You will also have time to relax and soak up the sun on the fabulous beaches or swim and snorkel in the clear waters that surround the island. On Day 6 of the main itinerary you will depart Sandakan and transfer by boat to Turtle Island, which lies off the north coast of Sandakan in the Sulu Sea. On arrival transfer to your chalet for a one night stay on a full board basis. Accommodation is simple but comfortable. Chalets have air-conditioning, private facilities (although hot water is not available) and bunk-style beds.

Your afternoon is free to relax. This evening is the highlight of your trip, watching the turtles lay their eggs. On Day 7 return to Sandakan and transfer to the airport for your flight to Kota Kinabalu where you rejoin the main tour as described from Day 6 onwards. For the perfect end to your Borneo adventure, spend a few nights at the idyllic Nexus Resort. This splendid hotel is located on miles of sandy beach on the spectacular Karambunai Peninsula. You will stay five nights in the Nexus Resort which includes the nights of Day 8 and 9 of the main tour, plus your three night add-on.
