Join us for a marvellous break to this beautiful region. For a country so small, Luxembourg has an amazing variety of attractions, from the sloping vineyards of the Moselle and the craggy rocks and waterfalls of Little Switzerland', to the green hills of the Ardennes. Highly recommended.
The pretty town of Vianden is possibly the most strikingly situated town in this region of Europe. Nestling in the heart of the Ardennes region, it's situated at the foot of the impressive Castle and is renowned for its picturesque townscape, art treasures and rich history. YOUR ITINERARY Trier - A three-quarter day tour to Germany's oldest town, Trier, where you can enjoy a stroll through the historic old centre. DAY 5 - Depart after breakfast for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK and continue to your original departure point in the evening. YOUR HOTEL You will stay at the family-run medium grade Grand Hotel de Vianden. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town. Your hosts, the Peverelli family, speak good English and will ensure you have a most enjoyable stay. Hotel facilities include a large restaurant, bar, lift, terrace, sauna and solarium. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with private facilities and TV.

Vianden Echternach Trier Wormeldange
DAY 1 - Local departure and a mid-morning crossing to Calais. Early evening arrival in Vianden for a four night stay. DAYS 2 TO 4 - Free to relax and enjoy our optional excursion programme: Luxembourg City & the Moselle - A full day tour to see the best of the southern region of Luxembourg. We visit Luxembourg City for a guided tour and Wormeldange in the wine growing region, where we visit a wine cellar and enjoy a tasting. We round off the day with a relaxing boat trip on the River Moselle. Little Switzerland & Echternach - A half day tour of the Mullerthal region, known as Little Switzerland'. We stop in the beautiful town of Echternach, which retains a remarkable medieval atmosphere.
