Venice is one of the most amazing cities in the world and can truly be described as unique. This fascinating city is so much more beautiful than you can imagine, for all the images you see of it the reality is always more breathtaking. Built on the lagoon and island inlets of the Adriatic Sea, Venice has over 150 canals and 400 bridges creating a maze of traffic-free streets just waiting to be explored.
INCLUDED EXCURSION Join our included walking tour of Venice accompanied by an official guide. See the main sights such as the Basilica di San Marco, the Doges' Palace (entrance included), the Bridge of Sighs, the Bell Tower and the Clock Tower. From here we continue through the alleyways and narrow streets to the Rialto Bridge which spans the Grand Canal. Your afternoon is free to explore before a boat transfer back to the Lido. OPTIONAL EXCURSION We offer a delightful three-quarter day optional Lagoon Tour by boat visiting the three main islands: Murano, famous for its production of Murano glassware, Burano to see the colourful houses and finally Torcello, with its traditional lace-making shops. YOUR HOTEL The three star Hotel Rigel is centrally located on Venice Lido just 300m from the ferry point where vaporetti depart every 15 minutes throughout the day and every 30 minutes in the evening journey time to St. Mark's Square is approx. 15 minutes. The hotel has a small lounge, bar area and a breakfast room and all bedrooms have private facilities, air-conditioning, TV, telephone and some have a balcony. The hotel also has a small garden and is just a short walk to the Venice beaches, with a choice of bars and restaurants nearby.

You can upgrade to the four star Hotel Biasutti on Venice Lido, offering that extra bit of comfort and service. Situated close to the Hotel Rigel the hotel consists of two villas set in beautiful gardens. Facilities include a lift, pleasant lounge, bar and breakfast room. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with private facilities, telephone, TV, minibar and hairdryer. Available on all dates except April 13th.

Every February, the wonderful city of Venice celebrates Carnevale, a tradition which dates as far back as the 13th century. Revellers in traditional masks and colourful costumes throng the streets to celebrate this special time. You will have a full day in Venice to soak up the carnival atmosphere and enjoy the festivities, returning to your hotel late evening. On the following day we invite you to join our optional Lagoon Islands Tour.
