DAY 1 UK/Lausanne Join the Eurostar service to Paris at either St Pancras or Ebbsfleet (passengers in Standard Premier will enjoy a meal and drinks served at their seat). We then take the high-speed TGV service to Lausanne, Switzerland, where we will stay overnight on a bed and breakfast basis. DAY 2 Lake Garda From Lausanne, we take the train for an afternoon arrival at Lake Garda and transfer to your resort hotel for a six-night stay. Meals: B/D DAYS 3 TO 7 Lake Garda Lake Garda is the largest and arguably most beautiful of the Italian lakes. The transparent, tranquil water of the lake is set against pastel-painted lakeside resorts and behind that, sublime scenery including the peaks of the Dolomites in the north and the gentle plains in the south. We offer a full programme of excursions to help you make the most of your stay. DAY 8 Strasbourg This morning we depart by train to Milan, into Switzerland, then on to Strasbourg, France, for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Meals: B DAY 9 Strasbourg/UK We leave after breakfast this morning and join the return Eurostar service to Ebbsfleet or St Pancras.
