The charming Tirolean village of See is located in a picturesque setting at the start of the Silvretta High Alpine Road in the Paznaun Valley, east of St. Anton. In the resort you will find a small selection of shops and cafés, plus leisure facilities including tennis courts, a variety of marked paths for walkers and a cable car for a spectacular ride into the mountains. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Local departure and a mid-morning A crossing to Calais. Continue to your overnight accommodation in northern France on a bed and breakfast basis. DAY 2 - Continue through France crossing into A Switzerland at Basel and arrive in your resort of See for seven nights. Welcome drink on arrival followed by dinner. DAYS 3 TO 8 - Free to relax and enjoy our A included excursion programme: Samnaun - We take a half day trip over the border into Switzerland, for tax free shopping and super scenery. Bregenzerwald Explorer - A superb full day tour of this spectacular region including a visit to a Schnapps distillery and a cheese-maker. Silvretta High Alpine Road - A fantastic half day trip which takes you up for panoramic views of a permanently frozen glacier. We return to See via the stylish resort of St. Anton. Obergurgl - A scenic three-quarter day tour along the imposing Ötz Valley, climbing to Obergurgl, the highest village in the eastern Alps at 6,300ft. Innsbruck & Igls - A full day tour to the delightful Tirolean capital with excellent shopping in the Altstadt, plus a visit to the picturesque Tirolean resort of Igls. Why not take a scenic tram ride from Igls back down to Innsbruck (extra cost). DAY 9 - Time to leave Austria and head back to A northern France for a final overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis. DAY 10 - Continue to Calais for a late afternoon A crossing to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening. YOUR HOTEL You will stay in the excellent Sporthotel Alpenkönigin. Centrally located in the village this traditional Tirolean hotel offers a high standard of accommodation and features a bar, restaurant, lift and hairdressers. The hotel's leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, steambath and sauna plus at extra cost a solarium and massage treatments. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished with private facilities, satellite TV, telephone, radio, safe and most have balcony. A hearty buffet breakfast is included each morning and dinner is three course with a choice of main dish and salad. A Farmers buffet replaces dinner on one evening.
