Stay in comfort on this fabulous long weekend break to the delightful French capital. Marvel at the grandeur of the Sacré Coeur, the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame, on our included panoramic tour and then simply relax in one of the many pavement cafés and watch the world go by.
YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Local departure and a mid-morning A crossing to Calais. Late afternoon arrival at your hotel for a three night stay. Welcome drink followed by dinner this evening. DAYS 2 & 3 - Free to relax and enjoy our A excursion programme. The following excursion is included: Capital Tour - This full day excursion is a fabulous introduction to the city and will help you get your bearings. See the main sights such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Champs Elysées and so much more. After your panoramic tour you are free to explore at your leisure. You'll also have the chance to enjoy a Seine River cruise, a lovely way to view the city. The following excursions are optional: Versailles & Montmartre - A full day excursion featuring a visit to the magnificent palace and formal gardens of Versailles, the former residence of the French Kings. You will be overwhelmed with the size and the grandeur of the buildings and grounds which epitomize Louis XIV and his reign. From here we continue to the charming artists' quarter of Montmartre where you can choose to have your portrait painted or just wander through the quaint winding streets and pretty squares. Take time however to visit the glorious Basilica of Sacré Coeur and enjoy fabulous views across the city. Paris by Night - This is a great opportunity to experience the city at night see the wonderfully illuminated architecture and enjoy a meal (at extra cost) in a typical Parisian restaurant.
DAY 4 - Depart after breakfast for a late A afternoon crossing back to the UK. Return to your original departure point in the evening. YOUR HOTEL Holiday Inn Paris Versailles Bougival located on the River Seine between La Défense and Versailles. Hotel facilities include a bar, restaurant and lift. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and feature private facilities, TV, telephone and minibar.

This exciting break combines the delights of Paris with the most important meeting in the French horse racing calendar. Sample the unique atmosphere, wonderful restaurants and fabulous shops of the City of Light, then join our included excursion to the Longchamp Racecourse for a day of exciting horse racing. It's a thrilling and great value combination.
YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Local departure and a mid-morning A crossing to Calais. Continue to your hotel on the outskirts of Paris, arriving early evening for a three night stay. DAY 2 - Free to relax and enjoy our optional A excursions: Capital Tour - This comprehensive full day excursion takes you on a panoramic tour of Paris, which will show you the city's main sights, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Champs Elysées. You also have time to explore at your own pace, or maybe find a café in which to enjoy lunch and a drink, before our coach returns you to the hotel. Paris by Night - A chance to view the wonderfully illuminated architecture and sample the atmosphere of the city by night. DAY 3 - Today we include a full day visit to A the Longchamp Racecourse in the Bois de Boulogne and who knows, perhaps you'll choose a winner! There is a full programme of racing, the centrepiece being the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe. This prestigious event is one of the world's greatest horse races the ultimate test for thoroughbreds from all over the world. DAY 4 - Depart after breakfast for a late A afternoon crossing back to the UK and return to your original departure point in the evening.
