It's party time in the lovely resort of Diano Marina with a great blend of relaxation and fun, including plenty of super `extras'. And with three wonderful excursions included, you can enjoy some truly splendid sightseeing, such as the glamour of Nice on the French Riviera, charming Portofino and more.
Diano Marina offers fine sandy beaches, tree lined promenades and plenty of cafés where you can sit and relax. The coast is sheltered by the Ligurian Mountains and you will find a pleasantly warm climate and equally warm waters. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade and explore the selection of shops, bars and restaurants in the centre. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Local departure and a mid-morning A crossing to Calais. Continue to the Dijon area of France for an overnight stop on a bed and breakfast basis. Boat Trip - Enjoy a different perspective of the Italian Riviera on our cruise around the bay of Diano Marina, including a glass of sparkling wine. The following excursions are optional: Monaco & Monte Carlo - Enjoy a full day trip to this tiny principality located on a steep, rocky coastline between the French Alps and the Mediterranean. Despite its small size it has become one of the world's most elegant playgrounds of the rich and famous. Attractions include the beautiful marina, its world famous casino, the Royal Palace and not forgetting the great selection of fashionable shops and stylish cafés. Portofino - We head east along the beautiful coastline to visit delightful Portofino, a must on anyone's itinerary, with time to explore the narrow streets and artist's quarter on our full day tour. DAY 9 - Time to leave the Riviera and head back A to northern France for a final overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis. DAY 10 - Continue to Calais for a late afternoon A crossing back to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening. YOUR HOTEL You will stay in the comfortable three star Hotel Olympic, centrally located in Diano Marina, 250 yards from the seafront. This family-run hotel has a restaurant, bar, lounge, lift, roof garden and veranda. All bedrooms have private facilities, satellite TV and telephone and most have a balcony. Your stay includes a welcome and farewell drink plus buffet breakfast and a choice of evening dinner menu with salad buffet and wine. There will be a music and dance evening on one night, plus other events as detailed.

DAY 2 - Continue south, crossing the border into A Italy and arriving at Diano Marina for a seven night stay. Welcome drink followed by dinner. DAYS 3 TO 8 - Free to relax and enjoy our A excursion programme. In the morning of Day 3 we include an introductory walking tour of the resort. The following excursions are also included: Alassio - A half day tour along the Ligurian Coast to the popular resort of Alassio with its stylish shops, long sandy beach and wonderful promenade. Ventimiglia & Dolceacqua - Enjoy a threequarter day excursion visiting Ventimiglia's popular outdoor market and the delightful 12th century village of Dolceacqua. Nice & Menton - We cross the border into France on this full day tour. Visit one of France's greatest resorts Nice, the capital of the Riviera and a byword for glamour and sophistication. Continue to the picturesque town of Menton, set between the Mediterranean and the Alps, where you can enjoy a stroll by the marina or wander through the many beautiful gardens and quaint streets lined with lemon, orange and olive trees.
