If you're looking to get away from it all and relax in a beautiful Mediterranean setting, then why not join us on this great value holiday to the wonderful Italian Riviera. Palm tree-lined promenades, clear blue waters and traditional Italian hospitality await you in this delightful location.
We have chosen the popular seaside resort of Alassio which sits on the edge of the clear waters of the Baia del Sole, the Bay of the Sun, for your four night stay. Enjoy a stroll along the palm-lined promenade and explore the selection of stylish shops, or simply relax in one of the many cafés where you can sample the delicious local ice cream. With its agreeable climate and abundance of attractions, including the opportunity to visit sophisticated Monaco, the beautiful port of Portofino and the elegant resort of San Remo, it is the ideal location for a relaxing break. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Local departure and a mid-morning A crossing to Calais. Continue to the Dijon area of France for an overnight stop on a bed and breakfast basis. DAY 2 - Continue south, crossing the border into A Italy and arriving early evening at your seaside resort on the Riviera for a four night stay. DAYS 3 TO 5 - Free to relax and enjoy our A optional excursion programme: San Remo - A half day tour along the Ligurian Coast to the famous resort of San Remo. Monaco - A leisurely full day trip across the border with plenty of time to explore the principality's jet-set capital of Monte Carlo. Portofino - Head east along the beautiful coastline to visit this delightful sailing port, with time to explore the narrow streets and artists' quarter on our full day tour. Includes a boat trip and visit to the lovely promenade town of Santa Margherita. DAY 6 - Time to leave the Riviera and head back A to northern France for a final overnight stay in the Dijon area on a bed and breakfast basis. DAY 7 - Continue to Calais for a late afternoon A crossing to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening. YOUR HOTEL You will stay in the comfortable, recently refurbished, four star Hotel Saraceno, located less than 200ft from the beach. Hotel amenities include a lounge/bar, lift and terrace. All bedrooms feature private facilities, satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning and a balcony.
