YOUR RESORT Staying for seven nights in the charming resort of Giardini Naxos you will have plenty of time to enjoy the relaxed pace of Sicilian life as well as join our great selection of excursions. INCLUDED EXCURSION Taormina - A half day tour to this picturesque resort, spectacularly situated on top of a cliff with panoramic views over the sea and Mount Etna. Optional visit to the magnificent Greco-Roman Theatre (entrance extra). CHOICE OF OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS Mount Etna - Visit Europe's highest volcano on this half day tour. Syracuse - Our full day tour takes you to historic Syracuse and Ortigia, where you'll find the Temple of Apollo and enjoy great views over Porto Grande harbour. Agrigento - A full day tour to visit the ancient Valley of the Temples which date back to the 6th century BC, epitomising the historic and cultural importance of Sicily. Alcantara Gorge - A delightful half day tour to view this unique natural rock formation formed in a lava stream by the Alcantara River, surrounded by flowers and plants. Explore the trails leading through citrus groves and ancient trees or paddle in the fresh clear water. Savoca & Forza D'Agro - A half day Godfather tour, visiting two hilltop villages featured in the Hollywood film. YOUR HOTEL You will stay in the comfortable Hotel Sporting Baia, in Giardini Naxos, just a short drive from Taormina. Set beside the beach and crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea, facilities include lounge, bar, TV room, gym, beauty centre and massage (at extra cost). All bedrooms feature private facilities, TV and telephone. Nearby you will find a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
