IGUAÇÚ FALLS
On Day 8 you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio for an overnight stay. The following morning, drive to Búzios for a three night stay at the Colonna Hotel, located on a gentle hillside overlooking Playa João Fernandez. Facilities include bar, restaurant, swimming pools and solarium. All bedrooms have balcony or veranda, telephone, TV, air-conditioning, minibar and safe. SPECIAL DEPARTURE
YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your scheduled flight to Salvador. DAY 2 - Arrival in Salvador, transfer to the Hotel Tropical da Bahia for a three night stay. There will be the chance to settle in and enjoy your surroundings. DAY 3 - You will enjoy an included guided tour of historic Salvador, visiting some of the city's main sights, including the renovated Pelourinho Square, the heart of the city. This evening, why not take the opportunity to enjoy dinner and a show at a local venue. DAY 4 - You are free to explore Salvador further, or join our full day optional excursion to the historical city of Cachoeira, with lunch included. DAY 5 - Transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for a four night stay (this is Day 2 of the main Brazil itinerary). DAY 6 - Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguaçú Falls. Transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. Situated at the meeting point of three countries (Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina), Iguaçú Falls, meaning great water', are one of the world's largest natural wonders. They are higher than Niagara, wider than Victoria, and stretch in a crescent with 275 separate falls, pouring up to eight million gallons of water every second into the swirling river below. This afternoon you will be taken on a walking tour of the Brazilian side of the falls. DAY 7 - Morning included tour of the Argentinian side of the falls. This afternoon will be free to relax or explore the falls further. DAY 8 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. DAY 9 - Arrival in the UK.
