one of the most fascinating and rewarding of holidays has to be a visit to the game reserves of east Africa. The grace, dignity, beauty and sheer excitement of natures finest animals roaming free in their natural surroundings is an experience that no one ever forgets.
The game parks of Kenya are amongst the finest in the world, with an abundance of elephant, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, lion, rhino, hippos and many other species. This fabulous holiday has been carefully planned to give you plenty of opportunity for game viewing we include no less than four reserves including the famous Amboseli National Park and the Masai Mara Game Reserve but have also allowed plenty of time for you to relax. Frequent and extensive game drives will be undertaken at appropriate times of the day, usually morning and late afternoon. At other times you will be able to relax in the sunshine at your lodge. You can also stay up at night to wait for animals to visit the nearby watering holes. Apart from the wildlife, the game reserves are also areas of outstanding natural beauty. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your flight to Mombasa, situated on Kenyas Indian Ocean coastline. DAY 2 - Morning arrival in Mombasa followed by a transfer to the Voi Safari Lodge for an overnight stay. Situated in an elevated position, the lodge offers magnificent views of the water hole and surrounding plains. Enjoy an included lunch before joining the first of your game drives. Tsavo East National Park, Kenyas largest reserve, covers an area of 8,000 square miles and is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebra, buffalos and elephants. Included dinner back at the lodge.
Your Hotels Accommodation has been arranged at various lodges in mombasa and the featured National Parks. rooms are simple in design but comfortable, with private facilities. All lodges feature a restaurant and bar, and special viewing facilities. All accommodation in the parks is provided on a full board basis. Please note safari routings and/or lodges may vary from those stated for operational reasons. on your final evening in mombasa you will stay at the Travellers Beach Hotel. Facilities include a bar and restaurant and all bedrooms feature private facilities and TV.
