Indian Ocean Lodge in Praslin. Nestled in the shade of the Tamaka trees, this hotel is situated on the island's longest beach. Each room is comfortable, offering your own private terrace or patio, climate control, hairdryer and room safe. In Mahé, you'll stay at the comfortable Le Meridien Fisherman's Cove. This lovely hotel is situated directly on the beach and offers stunning views as well as a fitness centre and spa, outdoor pool, tennis court, restaurant and bar. All rooms are sea facing with a private balcony. The bathrooms are open plan, being separated from the bedrooms by a screen.

Praslin is the second largest island of the Seychelles and is often referred to as the original `Garden of Eden'. The pace of life is very relaxed and there is little traffic and no towns. Huge, fantastically shaped granite boulders dot the island and coral reefs teeming with over 900 species of fish, living coral and jewel toned shells, paint a vibrant seascape around the shores. This charming island is host to a variety of flora and fauna including three of the world's rarest birds and the exotic coco-de-mer. The beaches of La Digue are some of the finest in the world and a photographer's dream. Quite unique are the dramatic granite boulders which have enchanted visitors for hundreds of years. The island is famed for its intimate, friendly atmosphere and boasts a wealth of birdlife and wonderful flora. Mahé is the main island of the Seychelles. It is just 17 miles long and never more than five miles wide but is not only host to an abundance of vivid flora, fragrant cinnamon plantations and emerald green rainforests, but also boasts powdery white beaches, secluded coves and a splendid mountainous interior.
