Tibet is a remote and beautiful country situated high up in the Himalayas. Isolated until recently from the outside world, Tibet remains a devoutly Buddhist nation, epitomised by the incredible Potala Palace in Lhasa, the capital. We spend three nights in Lhasa, allowing ample time to explore and view the local way of life and marvel at the dramatic snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Accommodation is on a full board basis and a full sightseeing programme is included. You will also enjoy overnight accomodation in Kathmandu before and after your visit to Lhasa. You will visit such important local sights as the Jokhang Temple, the bustling Barkhor Bazaar, the Sera Monastery and the immense Potala Palace.
