DAY 9 - Transfer to the airport for the flight to Sydney. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a five night stay. DAY 10 - Sydney is Australia's biggest and most exciting city. The centre is surprisingly compact and can be explored easily on foot. The world-famous Harbour Bridge and Opera House dominate the picturesque harbour. Our holiday price includes a half day sightseeing tour. This includes Bondi Beach, Hyde Park, Darling Harbour and Mrs Macquarie's Chair, a chair cut into the sandstone rock, named after the wife of a former governor who would sit there to watch for ships from England. DAYS 11 TO 13 You are free to enjoy the exciting atmosphere and sheer beauty of Australia's premier city for your last few days in this truly magnificent country. Optional excursions will include a drive to the Blue Mountains and Wildlife Park located approximately 100km from Sydney, to see the koalas, possums, wombats and kangaroos, all animals that immediately conjure up images of Australia, which you may well have already seen in the wild whilst in the outback. You can also enjoy a cruise around the beautiful Sydney Harbour or tour Sydney by night. Why not pay a visit to Canberra, where there is plenty to see and do in this purpose-built capital city. DAY 14 - Transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK. DAY 15 Arrival in the UK.
