Warm people, unique natural beauty and a wonderful landscape make Tahiti a heaven on Earth, often referred to as the `Island of Love'. It is the largest of the 118 islands and lagoons that make up French Polynesia and consists of mountain peaks, deep green valleys covered with rainforests and soft ferns plus cascading waterfalls and streams. This together with its coastal beaches make it the perfect place to relax after your tour of New Zealand. Accommodation will be in the Radisson Plaza Resort or similar with airport transfers included. Please note that these stopovers will operate subject to demand and availability. An overnight stay in Auckland may be necessary prior to flying to Tahiti due to flight schedules.

Hong Kong's magnificent natural setting on the tip of the Chinese mainland is a natural gateway to the Orient. It is an intense, vibrant and colourful city of dramatic contrasts. Towering skyscrapers, monuments to Hong Kong's development as a world financial centre, form the backdrop to the busy harbour, with its constant traffic of ferries, junks, sampans and sea-going vessels. Yet in the teaming alleys, festooned with red and gold signs, street markets remain untouched by western influences, and still provide an intoxicating taste of mystique and intrigue. You will stay for two nights at the Ramada Hong Kong Hotel or similar and a city tour is included. Fiji has over 300 islands in its archipelago, each fringed with coral reefs and lapped by warm turquoise waters the diving and snorkelling opportunities are fantastic. Fiji is a tropical island paradise, ideal for pure relaxation and you will be welcomed with open arms. You will spend three nights in Fiji at the Warwick Hotel or similar plus an extra night in Auckland prior to your Fiji stopover and all airport transfers are included. Please note if you book this option in conjunction with our 16 day New Zealand itinerary you will spend three nights in Fiji plus an extra night in Auckland prior to your Fiji stopover. Please note if you book this option in conjunction with the 22 day New Zealand itinerary you will depart Christchurch on day 20 of the main tour for Auckland where you will spend an overnight stay prior to your three nights stay in Fiji.
