DAY 6 - Return to Jodhpur for an overnight stay. This afternoon join our jeep safari ride to the Bishnoi Village. The Bishnoi tribe have lived in harmony with their harsh environment for centuries, and this superb trip offers a fascinating insight into their unique culture. DAY 7 - Transfer to Deogarh in the heart of the Aravalli Hills, where you will spend a night at the fabulous Deogarh Mahal, an imposing palace built in the 17th century and now a superb hotel. This afternoon is free for you to relax and explore Deogarh at your own pace. DAY 8 - Depart Deogarh and head to Udaipur for a two night stay. En route we visit Ranakpur. Nestling in a remote valley, this is one of the five most important sites of the Jain faith and home to a complex of exceptionally beautiful temples dating back to the 15th century. DAY 9 - Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes, is one of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan and famous for its serene environment, picturesque lakes and pristine marble palaces. Situated on the shores of Lake Pichola and surrounded by the green hills of the Aravalli, it is a wonderful spot. Enjoy a boat trip on the lake plus an included morning sightseeing tour featuring visits to the ornately decorated Jagdish Temple and the spellbinding City Palace, built in 1559. As you walk around you come across spacious courtyards, pavilions, terraces, hanging gardens and lavish Mughal-inspired decorative art.
