Andalsnes Arrive 1400 Depart 1930 Andalsnes is situated at the head of the spectacular Romdalsfjord, in a picturesque location between mountains and the clear waters of the fjord. Excursion opportunities include a steam train ride through the stunning scenery. DAY 5 Bergen Arrive 1100 Depart 2200 Just a short stroll from Bergen's quayside is a wonderful outdoor market. Be sure to visit the Bryggen, an area of colourful wooden gabled warehouses and narrow alleys, with a fascinating museum.You can also take an optional ride on the funicular for some stunning views, a scenic tour of the surrounding area or a visit to Troldhaugen, home of composer Edvard Grieg. DAY 6 Ulvik Arrive 0700 Depart Midday The picturesque village of Ulvik is backed by stunning snow-capped mountains. Excursions include a fantastic overland tour to Eidfjord,
taking in the spectacular scenery of the area by coach and train. Eidfjord Arrive 1400 Depart Midnight Eidfjord, located on the innermost part of the Hardangerfjord, is home to distinctive sand and gravel terraces. Join an optional excursion to the Hardangervidda Nature Centre or the Sima Powerplant, both of which provide the opportunity to walk down to a viewing platform over the Voringfoss Waterfall. DAY 7 Jondal Arrive 0600 Depart 1700 This small and charming village is home to a country museum and the Hardanger Cathedral, the largest church in the area. Shore excursions visit the fascinating Hardanger Folk Museum and a journey along the spectacular mountain road to the mighty Folgefonna Glacier, Hareiana and Tveddalstolen. DAY 8 Cruising at sea. DAY 1 Harwich Depart 1630 DAY 2 Cruising at sea. DAY 3 Olden Arrive 1230 Depart 1900 The charming village of Olden is idyllically situated at the top of the innermost arm of Nordfjord, the towering peaks of the surrounding mountains reflecting in the deep green waters of the fjord. Just beyond the village, lie the tranquil waters of Oldenvatnet, one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in Norway. The lake is fed by the Jostedals Glacier and nearby is the Briksdal Glacier, which you can visit on one of our shore excursions. For a more relaxing trip, join an excursion to Videseter to marvel at the beautiful views. DAY 4 Molde Arrive 0700 Depart 1130 Molde lies in the shadow of snow-capped mountains on the northern shores of Moldefjord. Gardens flourish in its mild climate, earning the town its nickname, the `Town of Roses'. Well worth a visit is the outdoor museum with its reconstructed rural buildings and folklore displays.
