All bedrooms have TV, telephone and private facilities. Hotel facilities include bar and restaurant (coffee shop in Palm Springs) and often extra facilities such as swimming pool and shop. The Stratosphere features its own cabaret, restaurants, bars, shops and its Top of the World restaurant 800ft above the famous Strip.

Follow the footsteps of the stars in a tour of Universal Studios, Hollywood. Youll also journey along US Highway 1, one of the worlds most famous drives. Along the way we visit Santa Barbara, Carmel and Monterey before arriving in the City by the Bay San Francisco.
YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your scheduled flight to Las Vegas. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a three night stay. DAY 2 - Free in Las Vegas. We include a short sightseeing tour of this exciting city. Optional Las Vegas by Night tour. DAY 3 - Optional tours by air to the Grand Canyon. The Colorado River took seven million years to cut this spectacular gorge, with a panorama of staggering depths, strange rock forms and brilliant colours. Not only will you fly over the Canyon itself, you can also visit the South Rim for magnificent views. Evening free in Las Vegas. Try your luck in one of the casinos or take in a show. DAY 4 - Drive to Palm Springs via the ghost town of Calico, a silver mining settlement abandoned by 1907. Nowadays it offers an insight into the old wild west. Continue to your motel for a two night stay. DAY 5 - Free to soak up the sunshine in the opulent surroundings of your hotel, set against the backdrop of the desert mountains. Palm Springs offers the finest hotels, restaurants and shops in a sun-drenched setting amidst mountains, desert canyons and palm trees. You can also take the Aerial Tramway up Mount San Jacinto or visit the Desert Museum. DAY 6 - Before beginning the journey to Los Angeles, take our optional excursion to the beautiful and vibrant seaport of Long Beach, where there is plenty to see and do. Perhaps visit the former Cunard White Star liner Queen Mary, now permanently berthed here and transformed into a hotel, restaurant and museum. Theres even a shopping mall on board the Queens Market Place. Or, why not visit the Aquarium of the Pacific, a world renowned research facility and tourist attraction, where youll find over 12,500 ocean animals in spectacular aquaria. Continue to Los Angeles for a two night stay. DAY 7 - LA is one of Americas most exciting cities and to help you get to know its many attractions we include a morning city tour, featuring the Hollywood Bowl, Graumanns Chinese Theater with its famous hand and footprints, Sunset Strip and the Farmers Market. Optional afternoon visit to Universal Studios, where movies are brought to life. You can visit film sets and enjoy thrilling rides and attractions in this exciting theme park in LA, the entertainment capital of America. DAY 8 - Today is the first day of your spectacular two day drive up the magnificent Pacific Coastline. You follow Highway 1 through Malibu and Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo for an overnight stay.
