Australia & New Zealand EXTEND YOUR STAY STOPOVER
New Zealand
You can extend your stay to visit friends or relations in New Zealand. You may return from either Christchurch or Auckland on any day subject to availability. You can also combine an extended stay with a Fiji or Tahiti stopover, and your revised departure can be from either Christchurch or Auckland subject to availability and flight schedules. For all extended stays there is an administration charge of just £45 per person. Simply advise one of our friendly Holiday Advisors of your schedules and departure city at the time of booking.
Los Angeles

On selected departures you can enjoy a two night pre-tour stopover in Los Angeles, giving you the opportunity to break your journey and visit one of Americas most exciting cities. It boasts every comfort, enjoyment and philosophy that man has yet devised and is of course, the home of the Hollywood Movie Industry. You will stay for two nights at the Four Point Sheraton Hotel or similar and a city tour is also included. Our fabulous 16 day and comprehensive 22 day holidays to New Zealand are packed with superb sights, fascinating culture and breathtaking scenery. In addition to this, we are delighted to offer some great opportunities to complete your Down Under experience. You can choose from a selection of stopovers which are bookable in conjunction with our main New Zealand itineraries or you could extend your stay. Simply select your preferred option (see pages 78-80 for applicable dates and prices) and book in conjunction with our 16 or 22 day tours of New Zealand. Please speak to one of our Holiday Advisors for further details. Please note that you will need extended duration insurance cover for these extend your stay and stopover options.

Tahiti

Warm people, unique natural beauty and a wonderful landscape make Tahiti a heaven on Earth, often referred to as the Island of Love. It is the largest of the 118 islands and lagoons that make up French Polynesia and consists of mountain peaks, deep green valleys covered with rainforests and soft ferns plus cascading waterfalls and streams. This together with its coastal beaches make it the perfect place to relax after your tour of New Zealand. Accommodation will be in the Radisson Plaza Resort or similar with airport transfers included.
Please note that these stopovers will operate subject to demand and availability. An overnight stay in Auckland may be necessary prior to flying to Tahiti due to flight schedules.

Hong Kong

Hong Kongs magnificent natural setting on the tip of the Chinese mainland is a natural gateway to the Orient. It is an intense, vibrant and colourful city of dramatic contrasts. Towering skyscrapers, monuments to Hong Kongs development as a world financial centre, form the backdrop to the busy harbour, with its constant traffic of ferries, junks, sampans and sea-going vessels. Yet in the teaming
alleys, festooned with red and gold signs, street markets remain untouched by western influences, and still provide an intoxicating taste of mystique and intrigue. You will stay for two nights at the Ramada Hong Kong Hotel or similar and a city tour is included. You will spend three nights in Fiji at the Warwick Hotel or similar plus an extra night in Auckland prior to your Fiji stopover and all airport transfers are included. Please note if you book this option in conjunction with our 16 day New Zealand itinerary you will spend three nights in Fiji plus
an extra night in Auckland prior to your Fiji stopover. Please note if you book this option in conjunction with the 22 day New Zealand itinerary you will depart Christchurch on day 20 of the main tour for Auckland where you will spend an overnight stay prior to your three nights stay in Fiji.
