All rooms feature private facilities, air-conditioning or heating as required, TV, telephone and a constant supply of tea as is the custom in Chinese hotels. Other facilities include western and Chinese restaurants and bars. In Wolong you will stay in the Panda Inn or similar. Accommodation is simple with all rooms featuring private facilities. Your Cruise Ship You will cruise the Yangtze Gorges aboard the MV Sunshine or similar. This cruise vessel has twin cabins with private facilities for approximately 130 persons and features a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, viewing deck and is fully air-conditioned. We are sure you will be agreeably surprised by the standards of comfort and service on board.

Discover the vibrant city of Shanghai, the incredible Terracotta Army at Xian and visit the Pandas at the remarkable Wolong Nature Reserve. Take a spectacular cruise on the mighty Yangtze and experience the grandeur of Beijing.
YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your scheduled flight to Shanghai. DAY 2 - Arrival in Shanghai, where you will be met by your Tour Manager and Chinese guide, before transferring to your hotel for a three night stay. During the afternoon, we include an introductory city tour. DAY 3 - Shanghai is a vibrant and exciting city. Our included sightseeing programme includes busy Nanjing Road, the traditional Old Town, with its ancient Wu Xing Ting Teahouse, and the Yu Yuan Gardens. You will also visit the beautiful Jade Buddha Temple and stroll along The Bund, the citys famous riverside boulevard. This evening there is an included visit to an Acrobatic Show. DAY 4 - Join our included full day tour by train to Suzhou, situated on Chinas historic Grand Canal. Highlights include the Lingering Garden, the Humble Administrators Garden plus a canal cruise. DAY 5 - Transfer to Shanghai Airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel where two nights accommodation has been arranged. Dinner will be at the hotel, and the evening is free for you to explore Xian. DAY 6 - Xian was once the capital of China and the most important city in Asia. We include a visit to the site of the Terracotta Army at Li Shan Mountain. During the day you will also visit the nearby Han Tombs. In the evening, join our optional Tang Dynasty folklore show. DAY 7 - Included morning guided tour of Xian, including the Goose Pagodas and city walls. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu followed by a short city sightseeing tour before transferring to your hotel for an overnight stay. DAY 8 - Morning departure for the drive to the Wolong Nature Reserve, located between the Sichuan Basin and the Tibetan Mountains. Lunchtime arrival at your hotel, where overnight accommodation has been arranged. After lunch, you will visit the Sanctuary, returning to your hotel for dinner. DAY 9 - This morning you will pay a visit to the Panda Museum, before the drive back to Chengdu after lunch for an overnight stay. DAY 10 - Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chongqing, where you will board your cruise ship for a three night Yangtze cruise. DAYS 11 TO 12 - You will cruise to the Three Gorges Dam, where you will pass through the
