Why not extend your holiday with a two night stay in a traditional Japanese guest house known as a Ryokan. This fascinating add-on will offer you the chance to experience typical Japanese culture and enjoy the comforts of old-fashioned Japanese hospitality and cuisine at its very best. For further details, please ask one of our Holiday Advisors, or visit our website. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - This will be Day 8 of the main tour. Transfer to your Ryokan for a two night stay on a half board basis. On arrival your local representative will explain the Japanese way at a Ryokan. DAY 2 - Breakfast is in the main dining room at a time you request. Rest of the day at leisure. DAY 3 - Transfer to Kyoto airport for your return flight to the UK. As you will be flying westwards your arrival is later the same day. YOUR RYOKAN Guest rooms serve as a living area during the day. Later in the evening your room is transformed into a bedroom. Everything is done for you so all you need to do is sit back and relax. All rooms feature private facilities.
