Leaving Sydney we head up the coast to our surf camp at Crescent Heads. Let the world class instructors help you master this great Australian water sport. Soak up the alternative lifestyle in Byron Bay, try your hand at hang gliding or work on the suntan as we journey into Queensland. The next two days finds us exploring Moreton Island in our 4WD. This huge sand island is similar to Fraser Island, but without the crowds. Hike up the world's highest stable sand dune, go sand boarding down the desert slopes before driving up the beach highway. Come and swim in pristine lakes and maybe spot whales and dolphins before snorkelling amongst the shipwrecks of Tangalooma Reef. On our 2-night stay at a secluded cattle station, jump on a horse or motorbike, milk the cow, feed the baby kangaroo and help with the daily life on this working cattle property. Home cooked meals around the camp fire and real family hospitality are just some of the attractions of this outback station. Sun, sails, sand and fun await you as we head back to Airlie Beach were we board our 20 metre yacht for a 2 day/2 night sailing cruise. Walk along Whitehaven Beach, snorkel in the shallows or hoist up a sail as life's problems melt into the sunset. Everything is supplied for this unique Australian sailing adventure. Do we have to go back to the mainland already? Jump aboard the island ferry as we cruise over to Magnetic Island for another unforgettable treat. Our apartments are nestled only metres away from the tropical rainforest and 2 minutes walk to the sparkling white Alma Beach. Free time to walk your legs off, check out the local Koala population, which is the largest in Australia, hire a minimoke, swim, snorkel, sun bathe. Next stop is 2 magical nights at Mission Beach. The adventure capital, where you choose to white water raft the Tully River, jump out of a perfectly good plane, try your hand a sea kayaking or fishing. There are miles of rainforest hikes and a day trip to Dunk Island also on offer. We travel north through the Daintree Forest area to Cape Tribulation. Start your next day with a 3 hour sunrise sea-kayaking trip complete with tropical breakfast. Back to Cairns we board our multi million dollar yacht for a full day tour to the Outer Barrier Reef. Go scuba diving (no experience needed) or snorkel among the colourful coral. Feed the fish or relax on the sand cay. This is the longest day trip to the reef and a great way to finish your fantastic journey.
