he name pretty much sums it up. Five national and provincial parks all dazzle with the mind-blowing good looks youd expect of Canadas Rockies. Add big-hearted boomtowns and river rafting, energising hot springs and whale watching for a whole bunch of larger-than-life experiences.
Day 13 British Columbia Another day, another dose of wet and wild; this time rafting on the world famous Kicking Horse River. Day 14 Whistler Get on your bike, find a shady fishing spot, hit the hiking paths or reserve a round of golf. You see, Whistlers way, way more than just snow! Day 15/16 Vancouver Along the Sea to Sky highway, prime vistas escort you right into Vancouver. Once there, take to Stanley Park on two wheels or two blades, then regain your inner city slicker around Agrade museums and galleries or bustling Granville Market. Day 17-19 Pacific Rim National Park After the gentle ferry ride, pick another watery experience, like an included whale watching cruise or sea kayaking between secluded coves. Day 20 Victoria In BCs City of Gardens, the intrepid outdoor type should feel right at home. Try and catch the Parliament building lit up at night, you can never bring back too many photos. Day 21 Seattle Eke out every last drop of holiday time, leafing through bookstores, hanging out in coffee houses or sampling a local microbrew. Note: This tour may operate in either direction!

Day 1 Cascades Straight from the off, alpine meadows, upright pines and huge hunks of rock topped with a hefty dollop of snow loom into focus. Day 2 Okanagan This rich valley packs in orchards, vineyards and nigh on every outdoor pursuit going. Expect some fruit-laden roadside stalls and one thrillstacked stopover. Day 3 Yoho National Park Say howdy to the hoodoos. These gnarly rock formations add yet more drama to the mirrored lakes, grizzled peaks and some of Canadas highest falls. Day 4-6 Banff National Park Blaze show-stopping trails in the footfalls or horse tracks of pioneers before you. Perhaps bounce across the bumpy terrain by mountain bike or hover above all by helicopter. One dunk in the hot springs and a drink or two later, youll sleep like a log. Day 7 Calgary This one-time Mountie outpost sure mixes it up. Socialise with the student contingent, embrace the frontier feel in spit-and-sawdust saloons or hang out at the worlds biggest public skate park. Day 8 Lake Louise A nickname like the gem of the Rockies is a lot to live up to. With an imposing chateau, panoramic trails and awesome hike to the teahouse, that really is no sweat for Lake Louise. Day 9/10 Jasper National Park The Icefields Parkway provides a peach of a drive through endless flats, sheer ridges and spruce forests. Jaspers wildlife puts up a fight for your attention too; the sharp-eyed may glimpse grizzlies, wolves or caribou. Day 11/12 Wells Grey Provincial Park Life jacket, paddle, sense of adventure? Check. Good, because an overnight canoe trip delivers pure, away-from-it-all escapism.
