est your mettle in the immense, untamed beauty of the 49th State. Pristine landscapes take the breath away, icy streams jump with salmon, while woodland lakes are perfect for canoeing and snooping on the wildlife. For one awesome week, say so long to the so-called real world.

Day 1-3 Seward From here on Resurrection Bay, hop on a boat and explore Kenai Fjords National Park. Whales, porpoises and sea otters often frolic within this white and electric blue scene, where glaciers calve huge hunks of ice into the sea with an ear-splitting crack. Dry land provides a pick for hikers: the leisurely trip to Exit Glacier or the tougher trek on Harding Icefields. Day 4 Kenai National Wildlife Refuge One word: wow! If you opt for the canoe view, the pine-enclosed lakes often deliver the sight of eagles surveying all from treetop perches or moose grazing by the shore. And, believe us, moments like these stay with you. Day 5 Luxury Wilderness Camp One scenic boat ride later, and its welcome to Kachemak Bay with the dramatic Kenai Mountains for company. An authentic Alaskan salmon bake is your tasty reward after all your mountain biking or sea kayaking efforts. Day 6 Homer Across the Bay, a little R&R is on the cards. Halibut fishing is king here though combing the sands of the spit or getting acquainted with local galleries are other ways to take it nice and easy.

Flexible Itinerary
Day 1 Alaska Range Now, what on earth are kettle lakes? Well, theyre small, round and created by retreating glaciers way back when not to mention a scenic spot to pitch tent. Day 2 Wrangell-St Elias National Park As the Wrangell Mountains cast their lengthy shadow, ready yourself for some top-notch glacier action. How about a guided hike or, for a more vertical challenge, clipping on the crampons for ice climbing on Root Glacier. Day 3 Tangle Lakes Great name, great place to chill out after the challenging, yet scenic drive. Lake-splattered green plains stretch to distant mountains, and winding foot trails should up your pulse rate. Day 4-6 Denali National Park Youll be glad summer puts in so many overtime hours of daylight this far north. Crossing the famous 800-mile-long Alaskan pipeline, its time to get stuck in to the vast expanse of Denali National Park. Snap a few shots of the locals on a scenic bus ride. Standing at over 20,320 feet, Mount McKinley muscles in on every view along the way. Day 7 Anchorage Okay, so once youve done the wilderness at ground level, set your sights a tad higher. Choose to soar over snow-capped peaks and see glacierforged patterns from on high, now thats what we call a grand finale! Note: This tour may operate in either direction!
