Day 3 Tangle Lakes  Beat a rugged westward path from Wrangell-St Elias. Tangle Lakes is a superb spot for untangling those thoughts, clear your head and focus on the sensational vistas before you. Day 4-6 Denali National Park  Standing head and shoulders above all, Mount McKinley is North Americas 20,320-feet high point. Dubbed Denali by the Athabascan Indians, this Great One tag could easily apply to your trek outing or a chance encounter with grizzlies or elk. Day 7 Anchorage  On your city interlude, six surrounding mountain range soon have you yearning for the big country again. Day 8-10 Seward  Uncover the misty, mysterious region of Kenai Fjords National Park. Plant your feet at the base of Exit Glacier or tackle the elevated Harding Icefields. By boat, scour the chilly sea surface for killer whale dorsals and listen for the explosive cracking of calving glaciers. Day 11 Kenai National Wildlife Refuge  Just you, your group and your canoes head into the outback; but hey, you may have to share the waters with the odd wading moose. Day 12 Luxury wilderness camp (HP)  Oh, what a night! Tuck into Alaskan salmon bake as you swap heroic tales of the days sea kayaking and mountain biking.
