his treks for anyone who gets a huge kick out of free-spirited adventure, bags of fresh air and seriously rugged scenery. Were talking cowboy camps, heavy-duty hikes, the canyonlands of Utah and Arizona and a whole heap of extra possibilities from river rafting to extreme jeep tours.
Flexible Itinerary
Day 1/2 Grand Canyon National Park First up, the daddy of all canyons. Staying overnight is an open invite to get to grips with some of those cliff-top walking trails and monumental observation spots. Day 3 Monument Valley Get that red dust beneath your boots and pitch camp under a million blazing stars. Next morning, those giant slabs of sandstone are real scene-stealers against that azure Arizona sky. Day 4 Wild West Cowboy Camp Yee-ha! If you packed a ten-gallon hat, tonights the night to wear it. Your feast is served piping hot from an authentic Dutch oven thats a three-legged cooking pot for strangers to life on the plains. Day 5 Canyonlands National Park It couldnt sound more like cowboy country if it tried. Its dressed for the part too, with its flat-topped mesas streaked in burnt oranges, amber and deep red. Day 6/7 Arches National Park Saddle up and set off along the Slickrock Trail. Weird and wonderful rock formations add surreal decoration to testing mountain bike routes and challenging hiking circuits. Day 8 Bryce Canyon National Park Its Wall Street, but not as you know it. Follow this narrow passage through sheer rock face and pop up in the Silent City, an astounding gathering of those trademark hoodoos. Day 9 Zion National Park All canyoned out yet? Not a bit of it! So go with the flow the flow of the Virgin River, that is, as it cuts a snaking path between tinted cliff walls Day 10 Las Vegas How about one last cowboy encounter, Sin City-style? Say hi to Vegas Vic and Vegas Vicky, the neon twosome who beat all those other Vegas signs hands down. Note: This tour may operate in either direction!
