DAY 1/2 SEATTLE > VANCOUVER Join the sun-seeking, rollerblading Vancouverites in historic Stanley Park or shop along trendy Robson Street. DAY 3/4 WHISTLER Western Canada's mecca for thrill-seekers get on your bike, zipline through the trees, take a scenic glacier flight or even a bungee jump! DAY 5 WELLS GRAY PROVINCIAL PARK The silence is almost deafening! Hike to the stunning Helmcken Falls or horse ride along the beautiful trails. DAY 6/7 JASPER NATIONAL PARK This is one of Canada's largest national parks. Be sure to hit the mountain biking trails as they're some of the best in the west. DAY 8-10 BANFF NATIONAL PARK Scale Sulphur Mountain by scenic tramway, or walk or horse ride along wildlife-loaded trails. Soothing hot springs are the perfect way to top off an action-packed day. DAY 11/12 LAKE LOUISE `The gem of the Rockies', with its hulking chateau, fang-like peaks on either side and turquoise lakes, looks like it's straight off a postcard. DAY 13 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK/PENTICTON Return to Penticton in British Columbia via Glacier National Park, where you can sample some of the region's local wines. DAY 14 PENTICTON > SEATTLE Back in the Emerald City, fill up on some high-octane Seattle brew and blast up the Space Needle for a cracking end to a top-notch tour! If you're staying longer in Seattle, add an Urban Adventure to the end of your tour for some world class urban kayaking see page 76.
