Set in the Victorian village of Strathpeffer, this cosy studio apartment is actually a wing of a large house. The accommodation has enjoyed renovation, yet still retains many of the original features associated with a home of this period. The rooms are bright, airy and well furnished. This is a wonderful area offering the holidaymaker peace and tranquillity. Strathpeffer itself has variously been compared to Harrogate in Yorkshire and to a Bavarian mountain resort. All such comparisons fail to do justice to somewhere quite unique. Strathpeffer has to be experienced on its own terms to be really appreciated. Local amenities include hill walking and mountaineering with nearby Ben Wyvis, a Munro (a mountain over 3000 feet). Other amenities include golf at the local course and fishing. The city of Inverness is just a 30 minute drive and offers attractions for all the family. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards. Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, double bed in lounge. Oil central heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, radio, microwave, shared enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, off road parking for 1 car. One pet welcome.
