Dear Globetrotter,
Well, it's been another amazing year. We've sent 5,000 people to 500 worthwhile projects around the world and trained around 15,000 to teach English overseas . Fifteen years ago, I was the one heading out on an adventure. I enjoyed the experience so much that when I got back three adventure-filled years later, I set up i-to-i from my tiny apartment in Leeds. The business has grown a bit since then, but we stay true to the spirit of those early days: meaningful travel, shared experiences and making the most of life's opportunities. And of course, everyone that travels with us makes a lasting contribution to improving the quality of people's lives. If you're in the mood to do something life-changing this year, if you're convinced that there's got to be something more to life than the daily grind, my advice is go for it... there's a whole world out there and you really should try to see as much of it as you can. Whatever you do, wherever you go and however you get there, you're sure to enjoy making your escape to the real world!
