Teach English in Quito, Ecuador

Ideal if you want to help urban children learn English. In the capital city of Quito you'll work with a non-profit-making agency that teaches children from the city's poorest neighbourhoods. You'll teach English, help with homework, present periodic reports to the agency and support community libraries. Quito is one of Latin America's most spectacular cities; nestled amidst snow-capped mountains, its beautiful location is rivalled only by the grandeur of its colonial architecture. What better place to teach?
Teach English in the Galapagos Islands

A unique opportunity to help shape the future of these world famous islands. Based on Santa Cruz, you'll teach in a school with a wide curriculum and an aim to give young people the skills necessary to continue the economic development of the Islands. The continued rise of tourism here means that with few other career prospects, English language skills will be critical for the new generation of islanders. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the economic growth of the Islands, whilst helping to safeguard the existence of one of the planet's most diverse eco-systems.

Ideas for time off
1. Sight the giant tortoises near Santa Rosa or the Charles Darwin Station 2. Hike to the beautiful and infrequently visited Turtle Bay 3. Snorkel or scuba with harmless sharks, sea-lions, marine iguanas and rays 4. Hop on a boat and see what the other Galapagos Islands have to offer
