Its not the Merenid Tombs, nor the Hassan II Mosque that will etch this trip into your memories but the place itself with its frenzied pace and lively atmosphere. Indeed youll be sorry to see it go as you leave for Marrakech but it wont be long before this enchanting metropolis has you captivated as well. Youll find yourself lost in the fantastical world of the Djemaa el-Fna where singers, story-tellers, acrobats, magicians and snake charmers all compete for your undivided attention. This is an experience that is truly not to be missed and will give you an incredible insight into contemporary Moroccan culture.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Timepermitting, you will tour the Hassan II mosque, the largest in Morocco. Day 2: Fes. Transfer to Fes, where you will be introduced to the family you will be staying with over the coming week.
