Africa is a continent filled with natural wonders, beautiful landscapes and a vast array of native wildlife but that is by no means all. Every African country boasts a unique and colourful culture, and thats what makes this tour so special. You will be travelling to not one, not two, but three of the continents most intriguing destinations and its sure to be an unforgettable experience. Starting in Livingstone, Zambias bustling capital, youll have time to revel in the urban African experience before being whisked away to Mwandi for complete immersion into a rural Zambian community. Then its off to Botswana for your first experience of the African bush. Surrounded by breathtaking views, extraordinary wildlife and beautiful rivers you will be off on the adventure of a lifetime as you head out on a game drive and a river safari. Then youre off for a long scenic drive through Namibias Caprivi Strip which is criss-crossed with rivers and covered in lush vegetation making it one of the countrys most beautiful regions. From here you will return to Mwandi and then to Livingstone where you will have the opportunity to see Zambias most impressive attraction: the Victoria Falls. Surrounded by the rich beauty of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, this colossal waterfall is truly a sight to be seen.

Day 23-25: Livingstone. Transfer to Livingstone. You will spend the next three days exploring the city and the surrounding areas including the magnificent Victoria Falls.

Volunteer at an HIV hospice, Elephant Sands Bush Camp, Chobe River safari and Victoria Falls.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Livingstone. You will be met at the airport and transferred to a backpackers lodge. After orientation you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city. Day 2-11: Mwandi. On day two you will transfer to Mwandi where you will take a tour of the HIV/AIDS hospital where you will be working for the next nine days. You could find yourself involved in a variety of activities such as teaching the orphans, working in the library and redecorating the hospital. Day 12: Elephant Sands. In the morning you will transfer to Botswana. Sailing down the river you will be in the perfect position to see the border where Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia all meet. In the afternoon you will arrive at the Elephant Sands bush camp.
Day 13: Elephant Sands. You will have the day free to explore the bush with an optional game drive or bush walk. Alternatively you can stay at the camp and enjoy the sunshine. Day 14: Kasane. In the morning you will transfer to the Chobe Waterfront in Kasane. You will have the evening free to enjoy the local facilities. Day 15: Kasane. In the morning you will go on a game drive in the Chobe National Park. In the afternoon you will take a Chobe River Safari in an open air safari boat. Day 16: Mwandi. Today you will set off on a long drive through Namibias Caprivi Strip which will bring you back to Mwandi in the afternoon. Day 17-22: Mwandi. Back in Mwandi you will continue your work at local projects.
