From the bustling streets of Cape Town to the arid wilderness of the African plain, South Africa is a country filled with diversity and this tour is a great way to explore it. Your journey will begin at the Karongwe Game Reserve, where the dense vegetation is simply teeming with native wildlife. This 21,000 acre park is home to some of the countrys most enchanting creatures including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos and cheetahs, and you could find yourself tracking any one of them through the reserve.
Then its on to the Kruger National Park, described as the brightest jewel in Africas treasure chest. Kruger is the flagship of all the South African national parks, and home to an impressive number of species including 147 different types of mammal, 114 types of reptile and more than 500 different types of bird! This is the perfect opportunity for travellers to see the countrys incredible native wildlife up close and you can rest assured that it will be an experience youll never forget.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Nelspruit. You will be met at the airport and transferred to a local backpackers lodge. Cultural orientation will follow. Day 2: Karongwe Game Reserve. Today you will travel through the Panorama Route to Karongwe Game Reserve where you will visit the Bourkes Luck Potholes,CAPE the TOWN Blyde River Canyon and if theres time Gods Window.

Day 6-12: Kruger National Park. Camping out in the bush you will Cape of Good Hope Day 3-4: Karongwe Game have the perfect opportunity to Reserve. For the next two days you see the local wildlife as you join will be camping in the bush, as you game walks and drives. You will spend your days tracking wildlife be learning and implementing a and out on game walks or drives. If whole host of new skills including you hold a valid drivers licence you tracking techniques, basic 4x4 may even have the opportunity to driving skills, bushcraft, orientation drive the 4x4. and navigation, wild animal and bird identification and astronomy. Day 5: Kruger National Park. Transfer to Kruger National park via the Phalaborwa gate. After taking in the glorious views you will camp for the night in the Makuleke region of the park. Day 13: Letaba Camp. Today you will drive down through the Kruger National Park, camping overnight in Letaba, Olifants or Satara. You will stop on the way to visit the Letaba Elephant Museum. Day 14: Return home.
