Lopburi Ayutthaya Beneath Thailands vibrant modern exterior lies a country steeped in culture, history and ancient traditions, and this tour will take you right to the heart of it. You will begin your journey in Thailands vibrant capital, Bangkok, where modern luxuries take on an intriguing eastern twist. From here you will travel to Ayutthaya, Lopburi and Kanchanaburi, famed for their ancient temples, religious shrines and floating markets. These three towns will give you a unique insight into the countrys past and certainly shouldnt be missed. Finally the tour will bring you to Koh Tao, a beautiful tropical island off the Thai coast. Whether you want to relax or the beach or have a go at scuba diving in the crystal clear waters, this is the place to do it! transfer to Ayutthaya, where you will take a dinner cruise on Chao Phraya River. Day 3: Ayutthaya. In the morning you will visit Wat Yai, Wat Phanan Chen, Wat Chaya Mongkol and the elephant camp. In the afternoon you will transfer to Lopburi where you will help to teach and play with children at a local orphanage. Day 4: Lopburi. Today you will visit the local temples before heading down-town to visit the Phara Kan Shrine and feed monkeys in the surrounding area. You will then visit a local HIV/AIDS childrens home to help out with lunch. In the afternoon you will visit an HIV/AIDS hospice in Lopburi where you will meet patients and help out by cleaning, chatting and serving lunch. Day 5: Kanchanaburi. Transfer to Kanchanaburi, stopping at a Buffalo village in Suphan Buri on the way. Today you will visit the bridge over the River Kwai and the war museum. Day 6: Kanchanaburi. In the morning you will work in a local kindergarten for orphans and in the afternoon you will visit an elephant camp where you can bath an elephant, swim in the river and take a trek. Kanchanaburi Day 14: Bangkok. You will have the day free to explore. Visit the Damneon Saduak floating market before transferring to Hua Hin. Day 9: Hua Hin. Today you will visit a local tribal village and take a 4x4 trek. Day 10: Chumphon. Transfer to Chumphon, with lunch and beautiful scenery to enjoy en-route. Day 11: Koh Tao. Today you will take a boat to Koh Tao where you can enjoy the beautiful beaches. Day 12: Koh Tao. Today you will take a tour of the island by songthaew and boat. You will also have a chance to snorkel on the coral reef.
