With its ancient cities, breathtaking mountains, picturesque valleys and rolling Saharan dunes, Morocco is a land of intriguing diversity. Your journey will see you exploring the countrys natural wonders as you wind your way through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, clamber over the 650ft Saharan dunes, wander up into the beautiful Todra Gorge, and explore the unique rock formations in the Dades Gorge and the Dades Valley. Impressive as these landmarks are, theres so much more to experience in Morocco and you wont be missing out.
You will be travelling to the countrys cultural capital, Fes, where time seems to stand still, leaving a charming city marked by traditional Moroccan values. The narrow streets bustle with native women carrying their wares upon their heads, excitable children and mules laden with local produce. Marrakech offers an equally captivating atmosphere and your visit to the Djemaa el-Fna will find you surrounded by singers, story-tellers, acrobats, magicians and snake charmers!
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Timepermitting, you will tour the Hassan II mosque, the largest in Morocco. Day 2: Rabat. In the morning you will visit the medina, Mohamed Vs Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Mechouar. In the afternoon you will take a tour of Meknes. Day 3: Fes. Transfer to Fes. You will take a guided tour of the medina, the Kings Palace, the tanneries and the pottery. You will spend the night with a Moroccan family. Day 4: Fes. You will spend the morning in an Arabic language class. In the afternoon, you will tour the Jewish and Andalusian Quarters, returning to your homestay in the evening. Day 5: Erfoud. You will begin your journey across the Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch in Midelt, and staying overnight at the Kasbah Tizimi in Erfoud. Day 6: Desert. You can relax and explore Erfoud. In the afternoon, you will take a 2-hour camel trek through the dunes to the oasis, staying overnight in Berber tents. Day 7: Todra Gorge/Tingher. After a short camel ride, you will drive to

Day 13: Casablanca. You will drive along the coastline to Casablanca, stopping at El Oualidia and El Jadida on the way. Day 14: Return home.

Day 8: Ouarzazate. You will travel through the roses of the Dadès Gorge and valley to Ouarzazate. Day 9: Marrakech. You head to Marrakech, taking lunch at Ait Ben Haddou. In the afternoon you can explore Marrakechs bustling medina, and Djemaa el-Fna. Day 10: Marrakech. On a guided tour of Marrakech you will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous souks. Day 11: Berber Village. At a nearby Berber village, you will learn about Berber culture first hand by cooking lunch, brewing mint tea and staying overnight in a Berber house. Day 12: Essaouira. After a short drive, you can relax in the picturesque fishing town of Essaouira.
